I’m super excited to share this recipe with you guys!
You know those days you have a stroke of pure GENIUS and it results in something delicious and creamy and frothy and healthy and glowy?
Yes. Glowy. I’m hereby adding it to your dictionary, and you’re going to like it. A lot.
It started out as a lull. A lull in our Saturday, where both Sam and I were lethargic, bored, and honestly a little crabby. You know those moods you get in where nothing sounds good and you’re tired of every activity you can think of before you even begin? It was one of those lulls. It ended with this Green Glow Smoothie, which I’m declaring an offical ender to all such lulls. And THEN we added my favorite new addition to our kitchen pantry-this Collagen Hydrolysate which is supposed to regulate metabolic function and support out bodies’ natural ability to repair skin, nails, tendons, and other connective tissue. You can read more about it here.
We’re just starting to use it–I’ll be updating you over the next few months as it starts working (or not). Anyone else have any expereience using Collagen Hydrolysate? I’d love to hear your thoughts or experience.
But let’s get back to this Green Glow Smoothie and the ridiculous new word we’ve coined to describe it:
I happen to know that this smoothie has all the glow properties it needs even without the collagen hydrolysate add-in, because there is nothing more feel-good about a bunch of greens and fruits and coconut milk blending together into one smooth slurpable concoction.
Just top it off with some granola, or coconut, or both….
